Expanding the Reach of Patient Safety and Health Care Quality Education
BOSTON, Nov. 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), a central voice for patient safety since 1997, and the Israeli Medical Association (IMA) have signed an agreement to collaborate on a package of patient safety and health care quality educational materials for medical professionals in Israel. The activities will be administered by the Israeli Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQH), a program of the IMA.
“NPSF is committed to supporting the education of health professionals around the world in regard to patient safety,” said Tejal K. Gandhi, MD, MPH, CPPS, president and chief executive officer, NPSF. “We’re pleased to be working with IMA and ISQH on this important initiative.”
